A resident is facing 30 charges following an investigation into alleged child abuse incidents in Renfrew, Ont.,according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
A joint investigation by the OPP and Renfrew County Family and Children’s Services (FCS) was completed on March 14.
A 40-year-old from Arnprior has been charged with 23 counts of assault, one count each of spousal assault and assault causing bodily harm, two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and three counts of killing or injuries animals.
Police did not name the suspect to protect the identity of the victims.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in court on April 30.
