A 54-year-old Ottawa man is dead following a head-on crash on Highway 7 west of Ottawa.
Emergency crews responded to the crash on Highway 7 near White Road, east of Innisville, shortly after 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Ontario Provincial Police say the investigation shows a westbound SUV and an eastbound tractor-trailer collided in the eastbound lane of the highway.
The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver of the transport truck was not seriously injured.

The investigation into the crash continues, with officers from the Lanark County OPP Detachment working with an OPP Collision Reconstructionist and members of the Technical Collision Investigation Team.
The crash occurred on Highway 7 between Carleton Place and Perth.
Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the crash to call 1-888-310-1122.
Highway 7 was closed for the investigation but reopened around 12:40 p.m.

Correction
Police previously said the victim was a 41-year-old man. His age was later corrected to 54-years-old.
