A man suffered life-threatening injuries after getting trapped between the frame of a lifted transport truck cab on Tuesday.
Ottawa paramedics say emergency services responded to the 100 block of Colonnade Road, east of Merivale Road at approximately 5:20 p.m.
Spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps says the man was trapped between the “frame and the cab” of the truck.
He was taken to hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, Deschamps says.
The circumstances of the incident remain unclear.
The Ottawa Police Service told CTV News Ottawa Wednesday morning it responded to reports of an injured man at a workplace.
“As this is a workplace injury and there is no criminality, we must refer you to the Ministry of Labour for any further details or questions,” police said, adding it is assisting the ministry.
