A total of four people were arrested following separate drug busts over two days in Kingston, Ont. this week.
On Wednesday, Kingston Police officers arrested and charged a 32-year-old local resident in connection with a month-long drug trafficking investigation in the Front Road and Days Road area, according to a news release.
Police say a traffic stop and subsequent search of the suspect’s home resulted in the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value $240,000.
The items allegedly included:
- 1.93 kilograms of cocaine
- 401.6 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- 100 tabs of LSD
- 409 grams of psilocybin (magic mushrooms)
- 384 Percocet pills
- 196 Hydromorphone pills (8 mg each)
- Digital scales and packaging materials
- Over $44,000 in Canadian currency
The suspect was charged with six counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. They were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
On Thursday, officers executed a search warrant at a home in the Weller Avenue and Compton Street area of the city.
A search of the home found a variety of drugs with an estimated street value of $9,790.
The seized items allegedly included:
- 83.2 grams of cocaine
- 12.8 grams of crack cocaine
- 25 grams of fentanyl
- 46 MDMA tablets
- 111 Xanax pills
- A “small quantity” of Canadian currency
Police say the suspects were not local to Kingston and had offences spanning multiple jurisdictions in Ontario, including Whitby, Thunder Bay and Toronto.
Two 19-year-olds and a 17-year-old with no fixed addresses were arrested on multiple charges relating to drug trafficking and proceeds of crime. A 19-year-old suspect was on a judicial release order for 64 Criminal Code offences, including alleged armed robbery, firearm possession and possession for the purposes of trafficking.
The 17-year-old suspect was also wanted by Peel Regional Police for charges of alleged incest, sexual assault and other related offences.

“These operations underscore a growing trend of individuals travelling to Kingston to distribute drugs. Kingston Police remain committed to thoroughly investigating these offenders and ensuring they are held accountable for the harm they inflict on the community,” police said.
