A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of a repeat federal offender after breaching his parole.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is asking the public for help locating Ashton Drysdale who is known to frequent Ottawa, Brantford and Toronto areas.

The 37-year-old is described as mixed-race Black/Indigenous, 5-foot-10, 189 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.

He is serving an 8-year, 10-month sentence for discharging restricted/prohibited firearm with intent, possession of weapon contrary to prohibition order, robbery with threats of violence, and possession illicit cannabis.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the provincial R.O.P.E. Squad at 416-808-5900 or toll free at 1-866-870-7673 (ROPE) or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) to remain anonymous.
