Fallen OPP officer honoured with bridge dedication
The Little Current Swing Bridge was dedicated to OPP Const. Marc Hovingh, who was killed in the line of duty in 2020. His bravery was also honoured with a citation for preventing further harm. A ceremony was held Sept. 4, 2026, on Manitoulin Island.
