Sudbury police release new photos of missing woman

Sudbury police initiated a ground and water search Thursday in an effort to locate a woman who went missing almost a week ago.

Search and rescue crews continued efforts to find a woman who went missing in the Corsi Hill area last week as police released new images of who they are looking for.

Parisa was last seen around 10:30 a.m. April 7, Sudbury police said.

She is described as 5-foot-4, 105 pounds with long, dark brown hair, brown eyes and a scar on her forehead.

Photos of how she was dressed when she left home were released Friday.

Images show she was bundled up in a burgundy winter coat with black fur on the hood, black snow pants with a reflective strip below the back right knee, red mitts and a grey toque with a pompom.

Police are asking businesses and residents in the following areas to check their property and outbuildings:

  • Kelly Lake Road
  • Lorne Street
  • Corsi Hill
  • Martindale Road
  • Copper Street

Search crews continued a ground search of the wooded area off Junction Creek between Kelly Lake Road and Martindale Road.

“Anyone with current information related to Parisa’s whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately at 705-675-9171,” police said.
