Two teenagers from southern Ontario were among six people charged in a major drug bust in Moosonee, Ont., that netted cash, weapons and drugs valued at more than $110,000.
Combined, the six suspects are facing 47 charges following a raid at a Wavey Crescent residence at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 7.
"During the investigation, police seized drugs suspected to be fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, psilocybin, cannabis with an estimated total street value of $110,000," OPP said in a news release Wednesday.
"Also seized was a 9 mm handgun, a magazine with ammunition, 10 cellphones, a knife, brass knuckles, a hatchet and approximately $12,500 of Canadian currency."
A 15-year-old from York has been charged with trafficking and weapons offences, while an 18-year-old from Etobicoke is facing similar charges, along with two counts of violating a release order.

A 22-year-old from Brampton was charged with trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime. Three suspects from northern Ontario – one from Moosonee, age 40, and two suspects from Timmins, ages 22 and 27 – also face trafficking and weapons charges.
The six accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court today in Moosonee.
