Sault police need help identifying suspected thief WATCH: Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is releasing video of a female suspect accused of stealing items from lockers at the YMCA last month.

On Dec. 10 at about 5 p.m., a female suspected attended the local YMCA on McNabb Street carrying only a small bag but soon later left carrying two large bags.

“It was later discovered that several lockers were entered and numerous items were taken,” said Crime Stoppers, in a news release.

Police and Crime Stoppers are asking the public to look closely at the photo and video to see if they can identify the suspect.

“If your tip leads to an arrest you may be eligible for a cash reward,” reads the release.
