On Thursday, Sault police charged a man with sexual assault stemming from an alleged incident at his home in February.
Police said he is accused of pinning the person down shortly after they entered his residence Feb. 5 and forcibly touched them for a sexual purpose.
“The victim was able to leave the residence and later reported the incident to police,” a news release Friday afternoon said.
Detectives located the suspect Thursday, more than two months later, and made the arrest.
He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court June 9.
