Sault hospital healthcare worker tests negative after suspected COVID-19 exposure

Sudbury — Sault Area Hospital says a healthcare worker at the facility has received negative COVID-19 test results after becoming a person under investigation for possible exposure last weekend.

Hospital officials say a limited number of staff, physicians and patients were in contact with worker and have been notified and taking all necessary precautions. They say there is no additional risk to the broader community at this time.

As a result, additional measures are being implemented.
