Sault crash sends person on mobility scooter to hospital

Sault scooter driver rushed to hospital Police in Sault Ste. Marie are appealing for information after the driver of a scooter in the city was seriously injured in a collision.

A person on a mobility scooter was seriously after being hit by a vehicle in Sault Ste. Marie on Thursday afternoon, police say.

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is appealing to the public looking for dashcam and video surveillance footage of a collision in the 300 block of Great Northern Road around 3 p.m.

The crash in the Staples parking lot is under investigation after the scooter operator was taken to hospital.
