Police looking for white truck in connection with a Hwy. 17 crash

Provincial police are looking for a white truck involved in a collision on Highway 17 last month.

The collision happened just before 1 p.m. on Dec. 23 on Highway 17, near Stewart Road in West Nipissing, said Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in a news release.

"The vehicle was described as a 2005-2009 white Dodge Ram, with a black front bumper and grill. A front light bar had the wire harness exposed, with damage to the front passenger headlights," said police.

“Officers are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the driver and vehicle, who failed to remain at the collision.”

Police said no one was injured in the collision.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information related to the incident is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.

No word on if any charges are pending.
