Police in Sault Ste. Marie are on the scene Tuesday of a fire on Woodward Avenue.
Few details have been released, but police said in a news release that the body of one victim has been recovered.
The fire was first reported Feb. 16.
“The Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating as the cause of the fire has yet to be determined,” police said.
“One person was found deceased inside the residence ... The investigation is ongoing. Further details will be released as they become available.”
