As wintery weather settles in across northern Ontario, a Manitoulin Island man has captured video footage of a popular site in Kagawong.

Bridal Veil Falls is an 11-metre-high waterfall that attracts visitors with its short trail on Highway 540 and is supplied by the Kagawong River.

Pat Hess told CTV News in a message on social media he used a DJI Mini SE drone to capture video of the falls Dec. 13 as it continues to freeze.

"During the winter months Bridal Veil turns to an icy, magical wonderland," Hess said.

His full-length video can be seen on YouTube.
