Sudbury — A 65-year-old woman from Gore Bay was killed over the weekend when the all-terrain vehicle he was driving left the road.
In a news release Monday, Manitoulin OPP said the tragedy took place Sunday afternoon in Gordon Township.
Police and EMS responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision involving an ATV on Skipper Lane, the OPP said in a news release.
"The investigation has since revealed that the ATV left the roadway," the release said. "The driver of the ATV had severe injuries and died later at hospital. The investigation is ongoing at this time with the assistance of OPP technical collision investigators."
