There were no injuries in a fire at a garage in Elliot Lake on Friday afternoon, but the blaze caused about $45,000 in damage.
Elliot Lake Fire Department responded to the fire on Washington Crescent around 1:30 p.m.
“Upon arrival on the scene, the fire department crew reported heavy fire and smoke conditions,” the fire department said in a news release.
“The fire was brought under control by 13:48 (p.m.) with heavy fire damage to structure and vehicles.”
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire was accidental.
