Capreol Lake Road reopened just before 8:00 p.m. following a serious crash on Sunday afternoon, the Greater Sudbury Police Service announced in a tweet.
The roadway had been closed since shortly after 3:00 p.m. according to a previous tweet by police.
“Police are currently investigating a serious motor vehicle collision and have closed Capreol Lake Road,” said police.
Police initally had asked the public to find alternative routes if possible.
In a news release Monday morning, Sudbury police said the single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a 22-year-old woman.
