Robert Buffam
Robert joins CTV Vancouver Island after stints working as a reporter and anchor in Alberta and in the Okanagan Valley. He is delighted to be based now in Victoria, a city that his parents and both sets of grandparents have called home.
Robert considers himself to be something of a late-bloomer, having taken the proverbial 'long-road' to journalism. He previously worked as a forest fire fighter based in the Cariboo-Chilcotin, and then as a trial lawyer in the Vancouver courts.
In his spare time, Robert plays golf poorly, runs marathons slowly and enjoys spending time with his family.
