Jordan Cunningham

CTV News Vancouver Island Anchor

Jordan anchors CTV News at 5, covering Vancouver Island’s top local stories.

Away from the anchor desk, Jordan connects with the community every day, shooting, writing and editing his own stories for the newscasts.

Previously, Jordan worked as a sports anchor and reporter, and is lucky enough to say he met most of his heroes (Go Oilers, Yankees). Highlights include following Steve Nash during his NBA MVP seasons, covering the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, and chronicling the exploits of B.C.’s top athletes for more than a decade.

Away from work, Jordan attempts to keep fit on the island’s endless trails and is always working on his guitar heroics. His favourite city to visit is New York.

Proud dad to Tommy and Reese.
