Arrest warrant issued in murder of Charalambos ‘Bobby the Greek’ Theologou

Quebec provincial police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect in the organized crime-related murder of Charalambos “Bobby the Greek” Theologou.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) issued an arrest warrant for Denis Beaupré, a 54-year-old Laval resident who has been missing since Oct. 5, 2025.

Theologou was killed in a brazen daytime shooting on Oct 1, 2025, inside a Starbucks in the Chomedey neighbourhood of Laval.

Video footage circulating on social media showed two hooded men quickly walking towards Theologou, who was sitting in a corner booth, and opening fire.

Two other people were injured in the incident.

The video also showed the gunmen leaving as panicked customers ducked and sought safety.

Police say Beaupré is also suspected of “intentionally discharging a firearm without regard for the life or safety of others.”

In connection with Beaupré’s disappearance, an operation was conducted on a property and in a residence in Vankleek Hill, Ont., on May 6, said the SQ.

Beaupré is a white man, 5’11”, 200 lbs, with blonde/red hair and blue eyes.

Who was Bobby the Greek?

Following the shooting, Quebec’s public security minister confirmed the incident was linked to organized crime.

La Presse organized crime reporter Daniel Renaud told CTV News that Theologou was a contract broker for organized crime groups.

Renaud said that some of his sources explained Theologou may have been in conflict with other groups, including Ontario Hells Angels chapters.
