MONTREAL — A female driver in her 60s was killed Tuesday after a collision with a recreational vehicle in Mont-Tremblant, in the Laurentians. The accident occurred around 5 p.m. on Montée Ryan, near Chemin Duplessis, explained Laurie Avoine, a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec. According to initial reports, the two vehicles crashed into each other in a head-on collision. The driver of the car was initially taken to a hospital to be treated for serious injuries but ultimately succumbed to her injuries. The three occupants of the recreational vehicle escaped unharmed.
