Montreal police (SPVM) are looking for three suspects after a vehicle fire in the Saint-Leonard borough early Saturday morning.
Police report that a call came in at around 12:15 a.m. reporting a Land Rover Discovery on fire in the driveway of a private residence on Copernic Street near Couture Boulevard.
A home nearby was evacuated due to the intense flames and around five people were forced into the street, according to SPVM spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant.
No one was injured and the residents were able to re-enter their homes once the fire was put out.
The SUV is a total loss and witnesses told police that they saw three suspects leaving the scene quickly in a vehicle together.
The investigation was transferred to the arson squad.
