Homicide in Boucherville: a 21-year-old man has been charged with murder

A 21-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder on Friday in connection with a homicide that took place on Thursday morning at a residence in Boucherville, Montérégie.

The suspect is accused of killing a 24-year-old man early Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. on de Bresolettes Street.

Officers with Longueuil police (SPAL) were alerted to the fact that a young man had been injured and was suffering from “significant upper body injuries”.

The man was taken to hospital, initially in a critical condition, and was confirmed dead on Thursday afternoon.

In addition to SPAL investigators, various specialist units, including a dog handler and the Forensic Identification Section, are involved in this investigation.
