A driver faces charges in a rollover crash in Sidney that fortunately ended without major injuries.

Sidney-North Saanich RCMP responded to the crash at the intersection of 5th Street and Henry Avenue Monday morning.

Witnesses told police the driver of an SUV was heading eastbound on Henry Avenue when they failed to fully stop at a stop sign before entering the intersection.

The driver of a pickup truck heading northbound on Fifth Street was unable to stop in time and T-boned the SUV, causing it to roll onto its side.

Paramedics examined all drivers and passengers at the scene and determined they didn't require further medical treatment.

The SUV driver has been charged with failing to stop at a stop sign, according to RCMP.

The intersection was suht down briefly while investigators processed the scene.
