A man was rushed to hospital Thursday evening following an accident between a scooter and truck in Saanich.
Police say a pickup truck was turning left off of Shelbourne Street on to Blair Street around 6 p.m. when it collided with a scooter heading through the intersection.
The driver of the scooter was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The truck driver was uninjured in the crash.
Both lanes of traffic were shut down for about an hour.
