London police are searching for two men involved in a home-invasion and robbery in the city’s downtown core this week.
A woman previously wanted as part of the investigation has been arrested.
On Monday at around 6:30 a.m., police said the group entered an apartment building in the area of Wharncliffe Road North and Western Road. Police say that once inside, the two men covered their faces with masks, and all three entered a unit.
Police say that one of the men pointed a firearm at a victim, demanding money, jewelry and the victim’s cellphone. He hit the victim with the firearm, and all three fled in a vehicle with the stolen property.
Surveillance footage has resulted in police identifying three suspects.
Wayne Clayton John Mcandrews 39 and Skylar Adam Eagle Speaker, 34, both of London have been charged with armed robbery.
At this time, their whereabouts are unknown.
Wayne Clayton John Mcandrews is described as an Indigenous man with brown eyes, short dark hair and no facial hair. He is roughly 5′8″ tall, and 170 pounds. He has been additionally charged with:
- Disguise with intent
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
- Pointing a firearm
- Assault with a weapon
- Careless use of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Uttering threats/death or bodily harm
Skylar Adam Eagle Speaker is described as an Indigenous man of medium build with short black hair, facial hair, and brown eyes. He is roughly 5′8″ tall and 180 pounds. Hehas been additionally charged with:
- Disguise with intent; and,
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order.
If the suspects are seen, the public is asked not to approach them, and call 911 right away.
