The London Knights are still undefeated in the 2025 OHL playoffs after a 5-2 win over the Kitchener Rangers Friday night at Canada Life Place.
The Knights’ offense clicked early, jumping out to a 4-0 lead by the end of the first period. Defenseman Sam Dickinson continued his dominant play, scoring two goals and adding two assists, earning first star of the game honours.
London’s special teams were a factor as well, converting on one of their powerplay opportunities, and preventing Kitchener from scoring on any of their four man advantages.
This is the fourth post-season meeting between these two teams in four seasons, and there was no shortage of feistiness. The teams combined for eight misconducts, with nine roughing penalties handed out in the third period alone.
With the win, the Knights take a 1-0 series lead. Game two goes Sunday afternoon at Canada Life Place.
