Jordan Hawke, who is convicted of human trafficking, is seen in these undated images provided by the London Police Service.

Convicted of 10 human trafficking related offences, 33-year-old Jordan Hawke of Cambridge was sentenced to 15.5 years in prison. With credit for time already served in custody, the one-time pimp has just over 10 years left to serve.

The court has heard that the offences date back to 2016 and involved seven female complainants forced to work in the London and area at various hotels.

One of the victims was as young as 16 years of age.

Before handing down the sentence, Justice Michael Carnegie told the court and Hawke, “His actions were exploitive, coercive, manipulative, and sometimes violent.”

When referring to the victims in this case, Justice Carnegie said, “Their lives are forever changed, the harm done to them has been profound.”

The court heard that some of the women were forced to see eight to 10 clients a day with some of the men resorting to violence.

Much of the money they earned was given to Hawke who booked hotel rooms using their names and their bank cards.

Justice Carnegie added, “He exposed the victims to harmful situations … Mr. Hawke’s operation was extensive.”
