Fourteen people have been selected to start sitting as the jury for the trial looking into the death of Grant Norton.

The body of the 59 year old was found in a sealed barrel down a ravine in the area of Jacqueline and Ada Streets in east London in July of 2020.

Norton, an Ingersoll resident, was known to have connections with the mob in the Hamilton area.

Ashley Bourget, 40, of London faces a charge of first-degree murder in connection with the case. She has pleaded not guilty.

The jury was selected late Monday afternoon and evidence is expected to be heard once the trial gets underway on Tuesday morning.
