From frost to fair skies, mild weather on the way for the weekend

Reta Ismail has a look at the latest forecast for the London area.

We’re expecting to hit a daytime high of four degrees Wednesday, sitting on the cooler side for what’s normal this time of year in the London area.

“We’re actually going to cool down. We have a bit of high pressure, which means a lot of sunshine for us today,” said CTV London’s Reta Ismail. “And with that will come the drop in our temperatures below the freezing mark.”

She said we’re tracking a system that will swing through late day tomorrow, which means a lot of cloud cover late in Thursday afternoon.

“Friday morning and it will be slightly cooler. But dipping into sunshine by Friday afternoon and we’re going to hold onto that sunshine. We’re in for a beautiful bright weekend,” said Ismail.

Friday: A mix of sun and cloud with 30 percent chance of showers. High 9.
