Emergency responders were called to numerous collisions in the London-area due to icy conditions combined with blowing snow.
A tractor-trailer jackknifed on Highway 402 around 8 a.m. Thursday, closing all westbound lanes of the highway.
Vehicles detoured around the crash scene by exiting at the Wonderland exit, causing extensive back-ups on the highway.
There were also back-ups on both north and southbound Wonderland as commuters, looking to access the 402, had to be diverted.
There were no injuries reported. The highway re-opened just before 10 a.m.
