Chilly morning to start as low pressure brings cloud and light showers

CTV News London meteorologist Julie Atchison has the latest forecast

A mix of sun and cloud will start the day in the London area, but areas towards Chatham and Windsor, Sarnia, you’ll see a little bit of cloud cover and the risk of some mixed precipitation.

“We do have a low pressure system that will be skirting by to the south with a bit of cloud cover, and areas towards the southwest have a slight probability of showers as we head into the afternoon,” said CTV News London meteorologist Julie Atchison.

The further north you go, we are expecting a mix of sun and cloud through the early part of the day to mainly cloudy as we head into the evening.

“You’re forecast high today coming in at 5 degrees Celsius after a very chilly start this morning. Make sure as you head out the door. You’re dressed appropriately, a bit of a wind chill first thing in the morning as well,” said Atchison.

As we head into into Wednesday, she said it will be mainly sunny and five degrees, six on Thursday and mainly cloudy with a chance of night-time showers.

Thursday: Cloudy. High 6.

Friday: Cloudy with 40 per cent chance of showers. High 7.

Saturday: A mix of sun and cloud with 40 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries. High plus 5.
