The team at Pathways Employment Help Centre is celebrating 40 years in the community
For four decades, the centre has supported job seekers with education and training.
“Our organization has come a long way in 40 years, and it was very much a volunteer started organization, reflecting a need in the community for people to have skills to take to the workforce. Now we’re offering skills training under the banner of Pathways Career College. We help thousands of people every year,” said CEO of Pathways, Paul Hubert.
Staff offer practical training, resume help, and connections to employers.
Program graduate Taylor Hale said, the great thing about it was the amount of support.
“And if you’re not ready for the position you’re in, then they’ll totally let you come back at another time when you’re more comfortable with it. And I think that’s a great opportunity,” said Hale.”
