Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have seized 419 kilograms (approximately 923 lbs) of suspected cocaine at the Blue Water Bridge in Point Edward — a street value of around $11 million.

It all happened in two separate incidents in late February and early March.

First, on Feb. 27, a commercial truck rolled in from the U.S. and got flagged for a closer look. Inside, officers said they found four duffle bags packed with roughly 86 kilograms of suspected cocaine – worth an estimated $2.3 million.

The driver, a 34 year old from Innisfil, is now facing charges.

A week later on March 6, another truck from the U.S. was pulled over, and this time, officers discovered 333 kilograms of suspected cocaine – about $9 million on the street.

A 23 year old from Brampton was arrested and charged in connection with this seizure.

Both drivers are now in the hands of the RCMP, and the cases are heading to court in Sarnia, Ontario.
