$100,000 worth of drugs and cash seized from London home

Drugs, cash and a weapon have been seized by London police as part of an investigation last month.

On March 27, police were contacted after a man saw a firearm in a home in the 400 block of Thompson Road near King Edward Avenue.

Officers later went to the home to start an investigation and arrested a man without incident.

• 165 x Morphine sulphate 100mg, value $4,950
• 155 x Methylphenidate Hydrocholoride 10 mg, value $775
• 67 x Clonazepam, value $134
• 480 x Dilaudid 8mg, value $9,600
• 260 grams of suspected Fentanyl $78,000
• 25 grams of suspected Carfentanyl, value $7,500
• 10 grams of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine, value $1,100
• Hydromorphcotine 8mg, value $20

The total value of items seized was $102,079 and a 44-year-old man from London has been charged

• Five counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
• Three counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
• Two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon
• Possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking; and
• Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking.
