In pictures: Solar eclipse seen in parts of Canada

TORONTO — Canadians east of Alberta and in the northern part of the country were treated to a stunning celestial sighting on Thursday.

An annual solar eclipse – where the entirety of the moon is in front of the sun – was visible at sunrise.
