Hundreds of dollars worth of goods were taken during a break-in at a daycare in Guelph.

The Guelph Police Service said two people entered the facility near Victoria Road South and York Road through a kitchen door around 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Once inside, they took approximately $200 worth of groceries from a fridge, as well as walkie-talkies and chargers worth $300.

The first suspect was described as thin, wearing a black jacket with a white logo on the chest, grey sweatpants with black zippers, black shoes, blue gloves and a face covering.

The second person wore a red jacket, black pants with a white stripe along the thigh and black shoes. They carried a backpack that police said might have been green.
