Investigation into credit card thefts from gyms and fitness clubs in Kitchener-Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police said they’re investigating a series of credit card thefts from gyms and fitness clubs across Kitchener-Waterloo.

Six incidents were reported between May 21 and June 10.

According to police, the thief would take credit cards from locker rooms and try to use them to make purchases.

They did not say if any of those purchases were successful or specify any financial loss.

On Thursday, police shared two photos of a person they want to speak to as part of their investigation.
