Cambridge resident charged with impaired driving in Waterloo crash

A Cambridge resident is facing impaired driving charges following a crash in Waterloo.

Waterloo Regional Police were called to the collision on Highpoint Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

“Through the investigation, it was determined the driver of a silver Jeep lost control and collided with a parked vehicle and fence,” police said in a media release. “Officers arrested the driver for impaired. There were no injuries reported.”

A 64-year-old man from Cambridge was charged with operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, dangerous operation and failure or refusal to comply with demand.

No one was hurt.
