Brantford Bulldogs sweep North Bay Battalion

The Brantford Bulldogs are advancing to the OHL's eastern conference final. But who will they play - Ottawa 67's or Barrie Colts?

The Brantford Bulldogs have swept another team out of the Ontario Hockey League playoffs.

On Wednesday, the Bulldogs faced the North Bay Battalion for Game 4 after the match was delayed by flooding the night before.

Gabriel Frasca, Adam Jiricek and Parker Holmes each netted a goal for Brantford in the first period.

Ryder Carey, Shamar Moses and Parker Vaughan fought back with three goals for the Battalion, but Jake O’Brien put the Bulldogs ahead in the third period.

Marek Vanacker sealed North Bay’s fate with a little empty net insurance to round out the game for Brantford 5 – 3.

The latest win is Brantford’s fourth straight victory in the series, eliminating North Bay from playoffs.

Brantford now advances to the Eastern Conference finals. They’ll take on the winner of the Barrie Colts and Ottawa 67’s series. As of Wednesday, Barrie led that series 2 - 1.
