A man was shot at a shelter in northeast Edmonton late Friday afternoon.
When officers arrived at the Niginan Housing Ventures facility located at the former Sands Hotel on Fort Road at 123 Avenue, a man had been shot, the Edmonton Police Service said.
He was treated by EMS and taken to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are working to determine if the person shot worked at the shelter, EPS told CTV Edmonton.
