Jasper SkyTram officially open to visitors for the season

The Jasper Skytram has reopened nearly eight months after a devastating wildfire in the national park.

The Jasper SkyTram has opened for the season after a challenging year in the national park.

Visitors can now book their tickets to ride the lift and view Jasper National Park from the top of Whistlers Mountain, which stands 2,263 metres high.

The ride takes seven minutes to reach the top where families can enjoy panoramic scenery, grab a bite to eat at the available cafes on site, explore the boardwalks and hike to the top of the summit.

The attraction is pet-friendly and offers seasonal experiences for adventure-seeking visitors including snowshoeing, stargazing and viewpoints spread across the mountaintop.
