Police have laid additional sexual assault charges against an Edmonton piano teacher.
Cassius Alleyne, 60, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference after police received a sexual assault complaint from a nine-year-old girl.
Officers said the complaint took place between 2022 and 2023.
Alleyne was charged with sexual assault and sexual interference in March 2024, after police received a report that a 10-year-old girl had been assaulted on multiple occasions during piano lessons.
Alleyne has been released with conditions, including no contact or communication with a person under 16. He is also not to attend any public swimming area, school, daycare, playground, youth shelter or public library.
