Defence on the Dock, CFB Esquimalt's showcase of the people, ships, and vehicles, is returning to the Ogden Point Breakwater District on Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be tours of ships ranging from a Halifax-class Canadian Patrol Frigate to a Maritime Coastal Defence Vessel and an Orca training craft. Watch the Naval Tactical Operations Group's rappelling demonstration, experience the cockpit of a CF-18 fighter jet, listen to the Naden Band of the Royal Canadian Navy and so much more.

Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock 2023, driven by Applewood Auto Group is an exciting annual event where law enforcement and emergency services personnel cycle 14 days and 1200 km across Vancouver Island raising money for childhood cancer research and support services at the Canadian Cancer Society. Support Virgin Radio media rider, Johnny Novak, as he rides the length of the island.
