‘Snow Much Love’ returns to Lethbridge, aiming to promote shopping local

Tourism Lethbridge hopes to shine a light on local businesses this holiday season.

It’s bringing back its “Snow Much Love” campaign to promote shopping at small businesses.

It’s the second time Tourism Lethbridge is rolling out the campaign.

Participating businesses will have signs with QR codes for customers to sign.

Once someone visits five businesses, they’ll be entered in a draw to win more than $500 in prizes.

Tourism Lethbridge hopes the campaign will pull in locals and visitors alike.

“We are really trying to get this as a citywide initiative that can help locals explore different things that are in our backyard that maybe they haven’t gotten a chance to do yet, and, of course, (get) visitors to come and gain some insights that locals can give them,” said Dominika Wojcik with Tourism Lethbridge.

The campaign kicks off Friday and runs until Jan. 31.
