Worker seriously injured in ‘significant’ fall at Calgary job site: police

Occupational Health and Safety is investigating after a man suffered life-threatening injuries in a fall at a southeast Calgary worksite on Monday.

Calgary police say one person was injured in a workplace accident in the city’s southeast on Monday.

It happened in the 5700 block of First Street S.E. just before noon.

Police say the victim was taken to hospital after a “significant fall.”

Calgary EMS say the man was transported in life-threatening condition.
