WestJet flies final flight to Lethbridge, Medicine Hat

The final WestJet flight between Calgary and Lethbridge has landed, as the airline ends scheduled service on the route.

Wednesday was the final WestJet flight between Calgary and Lethbridge.

The Calgary-based airline announced in February it was planning to end its Calgary service to Lethbridge and Medicine Hat.

WestJet called it a cost-saving measure.

Lethbridge and Medicine Hat airports are now updating their master plans, telling CTV News they are staying optimistic about finding a solution for their residents.
