Snow set to coat Calgary Friday night through Saturday

The coldest part of this cooling trend is Thursday night to Friday morning, with the wind chill close to that minus-30 mark in the city.

With wind chill this cold, frostbite can happen on exposed skin in less than 30 minutes.

A big whack of snow is set to fall on the city Friday night through Saturday.

On Friday night, expect one to three centimetres of snow, and on Saturday, five to 10 centimetres.

Conditions will improve for Sunday as the sun peeks out and temperatures regulate to normal.
