Pedestrian hit by vehicle in downtown Calgary

Calgary police say a pedestrian was hit by a car in the downtown core on March 25, 2025.

Calgary police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the downtown core Tuesday night.

Officers were called to Fourth Avenue by First Street S.E. at about 9:30 p.m.

There is no information about the victim, but police had to shut down Fourth Avenue between Macleod Trail and First Street for the investigation.

The circumstances of the crash and potential charges are unknown.
